Suspicious Minds - Hart of Dixie Season 2 Episode 4

*This review contains spoilers.*

Very excited!

  • Damn...more sexytimes with Wade and Zoe...
  • Oh, God, Lemon's houseboat...I really don't like her new direction.
  • Damn, Wade, is funny as hell with George.
  • Oh, Zoe, don't be taken in by Ruby...please.
  • God, Lemon is so annoying. I like her outfits, but her personality is awful.
  • Oh, dear, Lord, what is with the slutty doctor outfit? Damn, he's got another girl!
  • Damn, catfight!
  • Magnolia and Brick are funny, haha.
  • Oh, Zoe, why are you trusting Ruby...damn, Wade is so cool about this.
  • Hahaha, Lemon to the Belles about Ruby. I love it! Wait, is she pregnant?! NO!
  • Zach is bald! Not attractive! Oh, Zoe, you're embarrassing yourself.
  • I refuse to accept Lemon as a single mother...please don't make her be pregnant, she doesn't deserve that.
  • Oh, yay, it's Shelby...not. She's a freaking psycho. Great skin! GREAT SKIN! Wooooooooo!
  • Oh, Zoe, "Barkeep!"? Really?
  • Damn, Lemon, are you seriously shoplifting a pregnancy test? Oh, shit, they're caught! This is not good for Lavon's campaign!
  • Lavon getting a pregnancy test for his gator...plausible excuse, yes?
  • Oh, Zoe, you are so plastered. And you just shouted it?! Dumb bitch!
  • Brick and Magnolia are so cute!
  • Oh, God, he's still with Shelby?
  • Ruby, you fucking bitch, I hope you lose. Epically and publicly.
  • Oh, thank God, she's not pregnant!
  • Lemon gets seasick! Oh, yes, she better move home! Oh, no, swapping houses is a bad idea!
  • Oh, no...Lavon has to win! Oh, that was heartbreaking.
  • Oh, damn, Lemon's confessing!
  • Oh, for God's sake, Shelby, what is your problem! Thanks for just saying it aloud George.
  • I like this Frank character, he will welcome the zombies!
  • Oh, yay, there is hope for the Lavon campaign! Woooo!
  • Giving Magnolia that credit card was a bad idea, Brick!
  • Aw, this is a nice ending! I love the music, and the happy vibes, and everyone sticking it to Ruby.
  • Oh, a Zoe and Wade scene. He just agreed to casual monogamy with her!!!!!!!!!!! And the blonde was from the hardware store! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!! YES!
So freaking awesome!!!!!!!!! Watch it right now!
Thanks for watching!

Sick - The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 2

*This review contains spoilers.*

Yes, I'm late, and I missed an episode, haha, sorry.

Absolutely wonderful show, I don't know what it is, but I wait for it with bated breath every time.

The interactions between Lori and Rick are so great. Realistic, poignant, epic, I just adore it.

The moments over Herschel's  bed were deliciously tense.

Prisoners! The suspense with them was wonderful and completely blind-sided me with the eventual outcome.

Carol and the C-Section. Whoa, whoa, whoa...but it's damn inconvenient the doctor is the one who is incapacitated.

I feel like we got a  very dark spin this episode, but I can't wait for next week...and for Lori to have the baby!

Thanks for reading!

A Vast and Fiendish Plot - Copper Season 1 Episode 10 FINALE

*This review contains spoilers.*

Aaaaah, I'm so excited for the last episode of this season! Woooo!

  • I can't wait to see who was knocking last episode...
  • Oh, I see...oh, dear...the Confederates are trying to burn the city again? I'm still not positive I understand Robert's motivations in this...
  • And Corky, you really think you can trust Eva?
  • Oh, damn, Kennedy is good.
  • Annie, you stupid bitch. Oh, thank you Eva, for calling Annie out on her bullshit.
  • Oh, damn, Elizabeth is still hanging with the Booths...damn, Elizabeth, you are a badass.
  • Aw, I hope they don't kill all the Confederates...some of them seemed really young.
  • Oh, damn, how are they going to find the guy making the Greek fire?
  • The interactions with Eva, Annie, and Ellen are something...all the women of Corky, haha.
  • Oh, come on, Sarah, you'll be alright...
  • Wait, wait, Sarah's mother was left behind? Where? Were they slaves who were able to escape or something? Uh-oh...what if something happens to her?
  • Oh, damn, Kennedy has the stuff!
  • Oh, the telegraph guy knows! Damn, Corky, stop it! Thank you, Robert.
  • Damn, Sarah, miracle cures are probably not a good idea.
  • Oh, shit, here's his father! And Kennedy! Oh, I love Robert's interactions with his father.
  • Oh, damn, Sarah, that is not a good idea.
  • It's weird how nice Eva is being to Ellen.
  • Nice look at 19th century fashion. I really love  Elizabeth's style.
  • Oh, damn, they have a horrible father/son relationship...uh-oh, I think Elizabeth going over there is very bad idea.
  • Uh-oh, Sarah better not be unconscious with this miracle cure stuff...oh, damn, there she is.
  • Oh, shit, there's Maguire! Can I just say, what an eventful finale!
  • Yay, Shakespeare! Wooo!
  • Uh-oh, fire!
  • ...Julius Caesar...oh, how fitting is this monologue? I love you, Copper. I love you, BBC America, I love you for saving me from my melancholia, and being badass and cerebral.
  • Wait, wait, who is lying on the floor in there? Oh, damn, it's Maguire? And Kevin rescued him? Kevin, you're a better man than I thought you were.
  • Oh, damn, Elizabeth, you are way more into this than I thought you were...I really, really love Anastasia Griffith.
  • What a power shift between Robert and his father...sending him to Atlanta? Oh, damn...Robert, you are cold!
  • Oh, thank God, Sarah's coming around!
  • Oh, damn, Matthew...
  • Aw, this is a very sweet hug between Elizabeth and Robert.
  • Oh, damn, Maguire doesn't look very good...holy shit, he killed Grendel? And Mary?
  • Eva is so blunt about her whore-iness. And she doesn't seem upset that her and Corky seem to be over.
  • Oh, Kevin, talk to your wife, please?
  • Kevin, what are you taking there? Is that what Ellen was on? Are you on opium? Really? Oh, God, he's hallucinating Maggie again! Poor Kevin!
Oh, wow, what a finale! I loved it! And it's coming back summer of 2013! Great finale! I loved Elizabeth/Robert this episode, as well as both of them in their own rights...I also liked Kevin and the whole action packed plot aspect.

I highly recommend this episode and the show itself.

Thanks for reading!

Proceed with Caution - Beauty and the Beast Season 1 Episode 2

*This review contains spoilers.*

  • Uh-oh, wandering around the streets in the middle of the night is generally not a good idea.
  • Aw, Cat has a roommate! Heather! Her sister! Oh, my God, Heather looks like the girl who played Lizzie Bennett in Lost in Austen.
  • Hahaha, Cat taking out J.T. was pretty hilarious.
  • The understudy! It was so the understudy; it's always the understudy.
  • Oooooh, no accident! Suicide or homicide!
  • Oh, God, it's Vincent! He so wants to see her...wait, if Vincent can hear that pulse, what else can he hear...*suggestive hint*
  • Uh-oh, cat fight between the dancer and Victoria? Who was Odette last year? Oh, it was SO the understudy.
  • Wait, wait, Gemma was a temporary Odette? It can't have been Victoria...
  • Uh-oh...throwing away flowers from boy she doesn't like and taking the morning after pill?
  • Aw, Vincent offered her a drink? Oh, Vincent, you know that her pulse is racing because of you!
  • Aw, they're giggling together! How cute! Oh, J.T. let them be cool, please.
  • Uh-oh, stalker and work...Julio Ramirez, the janitor! Did he do it? Oh, well, he's running, so I'm going to say yes.
  •  Oh, God, Cat you are a stupid bitch.
  • So, it wasn't Julio? Okay, hmm...
  • So, Vincent left?
  • I take back what I said, I don't think it's Victoria. Oh, no, whoa....she knows something.
  • Oh, damn, Cat, you stupid bitch, what did Vincent tell you? And then you hit someone? Who turns out to be a ninja assassin...okay, that's going down.
  • And Vincent saves her, even though she's a dumb bitch.
  • I love Evan of the British Accent. Cat the Dumb Bitch doesn't deserve him.
  • Oh, so Victoria was pregnant with Joshua's baby? Who is the father? Oh, damn, the dance teacher did it! Didn't see that coming!
  • Oh, Cat, a letter? Really...
  • Uh-oh, bye-bye Heather? Nope, she's staying.
  • It's him! He sent her a note! And they're meeting! Oh, um...there's a ... uh ... touching moment on the roof.
Meh...not bad.

Memorial - Vampire Diaries Season 4 Episode 2

*This review contains spoilers.*

  • This is a cool juxtaposition of Stefan and Damon fighting and Elena feeding...I like the cinematography of the woods scene.
  • ...Are Stefan and Elena going to have hot vampire sex? That's where this appears to be going...Oh, yep, that is so where we're going...oooh, sexy abs...and not so sexy Elena vomiting.
  • Uh-oh, I don't like the idea of the independent contractor...
  • Oh, Damon, I love you so...
  • April? April, who? Oh, Pastor Young's daughter...and they're setting her up with Jeremy...
  • Aw, this is a nice Elena/Stefan moment with the drink...
  • Oh, Damon, I really, really love you. Elena, don't be mean to him.
  • Oh, whoa, Damon is offering her his blood...I like this a lot....Oh, whoa, how "personal" are we talking here? The look on his face right now tells me very personal.
  • Hahahahah, Tyler and Caroline and grief sex is very funny.
  • Uh-oh, this contractor is very, very bad news...holy fuck, that bastard Connor just shot Tyler!
  • Oh, thank God, Tyler is okay.
  • Aw, Elena looks really pretty in Church...I don't know how she can be nice about Pastor Young when he was so against vampires and such...
  • Uh-oh, I really wanted Damon's blood to work...
  • Oh, yeah, Bonnie, how's she doing?
  • Yes, Damon to the rescue...way to avoid shaking that hand! Okay, the look on Elena's face when telling him to hurry, and him getting worried for her...come on, Delena!
  • Oh, shit, Connor just stabbed April?
  • Oh, this tree scene is amazing! I love protective, caring, I'm not going to let anything happen to you Damon...
  • Oh, Damon, you just have to antagonize Stefan don't you.
  • Hahaha, Damon makes me giggle.
  • Oh, no...they're trying to get Elena to go for the blood...if he shoots her, I'm going to be so pissed.
  • And it's Stefan to the rescue...
  • And Matt offers himself like the nice guy he is...aw.
  • Oh, damn, Tyler got shot again! Oh, no!
  • Oh, good, He's fine...Damon, please get this bastard! Oh, I hope you're okay sweetie! STEFAN! You son of a bitch!
  • Oh, damn, Elena's going for April...Caroline to the rescue....
  • It worked!
  • Oh, damn, it's him! Uh-oh, why can Jeremy see the tattoos but not Matt?
  • Wait, wait, a war ahead? Worse to come? What?
  • Haha, liquor helps with the cravings? And here I thought Damon was just an alcoholic.
  • Uh-oh, Stefan and Elena, fighting...It meant a lot to Damon? YES!
  • Oh, God, Elena is getting dangerously close to mental breakdown territory.
  • Okay, some kind of memorial service a la Stefan...
  • Uncle Zach, Lexi, Alaric, Vicki, Caroline's dad, Tyler's dad, Jeremy's parents, Anna, Jenna....oh, damn, the death toll mounts...oh, come on, Damon, don't stalk off...aw, Elena, go after him...this is a touching moment... absolutely love these lantern things, setting them off with some friends at the end of senior year of high school was so fun.
  • Oh, Damon, I love when he's bitter and drunk...I feel like we get his real personality here. Aw, poor Damon, with the whole in his heart where the people he cared about used to be...talking to imaginary Alaric and drinking...great scene! I love these moments of Damon's.
We end on Damon? Yes! I love Damon so much! Really great episode, plenty of Damon being beautiful and angsty and wonderful.

Honor Thy Father - Arrow Season 1 Episode 2

*This review contains spoilers.*

Unlike Emily Owens, M.D., which is freaking amazing, I don't love this show, I mainly watch it because I have faith in the CW that it will get better, and Stephen Amell has beautiful abs. I'm going to review it anyway, however,

  • Okay, their previously on was pretty cool.
  • His friend is absolutely hilarious and I love him!
  • Nice flashbacks during the court statement...
  • I almost forgot that Mom is a bad guy...
  • Damn, Laurel is such a bitch!
  • Nice, more shirtless exercising scenes! CW, you know what I want and you deliver.
  • Damn, Oliver goes for Victor...
  • I don't get Mom's motivation at all.
  • I like Sister a lot...she's feisty.
  • Oh, dear, he doesn't want to take the company...and Mom is pissed.
  • Aw, poor Ollie lost his dad.
  • Yikes, Laurel's dad is serious...and she is a total bitch.
  • Oh, my God, Stephen Amell's sexy, ab-tastic, scarred chest is EVERYWHERE.
  • Aw, sweet moment with Sister (Thea?)!
  • Oh, damn, Ollie is very in touch with his emotions...right to how he's sorry he hurt her...aw,  he just called himself a "damaged jerk"...poor baby. :( Aw, ice cream date!
  • Oh, no, people with guns! Ah, yes, she totally ran to him, she so likes him!
  • Laurel's got some seriously weird interactions with her father...he's too overprotective.
  • Oh, no, what's going down at the docks? Oh, I see, he's got what's his face...
  • Oh, no, the cop...oh, damn, he's good.
  • Oh, Ollie, what are you doing?
  • Again, Laurel's dad is really annoying...
  • Finally, do we get to see what Mom is up to? The yacht was sabotaged! Holy shit!
  • Aw, poor Ollie...
I don't want to say I love this show, but it's worth watching, and Stephen Amell has a gorgeous body, haha.

The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan - Heroes of Olympus Book Three

*This review contains spoilers.*

So, The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan, third in the Heroes of Olympus series.

I absolutely loved this book. I really love the Percy Jackson stuff in general, as I love Greek mythology, and I think the books have the perfect balance of humor, action, romance and tragedy, i.e. the makings of a classic. Needless to say, I was ecstatically looking forward to getting this book, because I love all of Rick Riordan's stuff, and expected this to be no different.

Even then I was surprised how much I loved this book.

Of course, I love Riordan's style, and the general premise of the Percy Jackson books, and you do, too, if you've searched for this post, i.e. if you're a fan of the series, this will not disappoint. Books where people lose their memories or are lost for some time usually irk me, and even though I love this series enough for that not to happen, I was very pleased that Jason, Piper, Leo, Hazel, Frank, Percy and Annabeth were all back together, knowing who they all are.

Another aspect of this book was the emotional growth of the characters. I feel like we saw a lot more of Percy and Jason in terms of how they feel about their leadership, which was a fascinating and enjoyable delve into their psyches. Also, and I've never really felt much of a connection to Annabeth, there was a little more depth to her, and I guess I saw her as less of an abstraction in this installment.

Okay, romance! Piper and Jason are wonderful...I think they have what I consider the ideal relationship archetypes for some reason, with him being a child of Zeus, and her of Aphrodite...it just feels like the way things should be...and they're all sweet and caring about each other and such. ...And Percy and Annabeth...I actually had a tear brought to my eye by this one. There was a point where Percy had just gotten Annabeth back, and he says that he always feels like he's walking on eggshells and that any second he might shatter his relationship...and that made my tear up, all vulnerable sounding and such. They were also more open then we've ever seen them, which I really enjoyed...and I've always nursed a bit of a thing for Percy...so, yeah.

In short, the book was absolutely excellent! The romance, the humor, the style, the mythology, the pacing, the plot, the everything was completely perfect! I even liked the ending...both joyous and tragic, in its way.

Complete Tangent: This book just brought me back to the good old days...I decided to read Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief in the stairwell of my middle school. I talked to some girl I thought I hated in chem my junior year because she had The Lost Hero...yes, it was probably started with 12 year old boys in mind, but I don't care. Warm and fuzzy feelings, I say! Not as many feels as Harry Potter, but just pleasantly familiar and good and such. I've started college, and I'm disappointed with the way it all turned out and I'm just kinda miserable about it...put Percy Jackson made me happy in a way I haven't been since I got here, and I thank him for that.

Back on track: Basically, best book ever and you should absolutely read it!

Pilot - Emily Owens, M.D. Season 1 Episode 1 PREMIERE

*This review contains spoilers.*

It's the CW, I'll give everything they put out a shot.

  • I love this girl already, haha.
  • She has beautiful hair.
  • Will is cute, in that geeky kind of way.
  • Wow, the scene of a hospital as high school was the most hilarious thing ever.
  • Oh, yes, she likes Will, too!
  • Ooooh, paperwork, that's rough.
  • Aw, Emily is so good with Julia...oh, fuck, she just passed out! And she's calling for a doctor? Oh, ouch, oh, shit, is she going lose a patient in her first hour there?
  • ...And the Pits thing...rough.
  • Yikes, Cassandra has hated Emily since 5th grade. And stole her pager? Damn, that's cruel.
  • Haha, Julia is adorable...yes, Twilight digs, haha...I love this show and am watching it til the day I die.
  • Oh, dear...interesting favor from the Chief's daughter....
  • Oh, she is so wonderful. And Will is so great!
  • Uh-oh, stuck with Cassandra, looking for the missing Marianne, and losing their Alzheimer patient. That's rough.
  • Oh, come on, Emily, you can do it. Oh, wow, that other doctor (Micah?) they met at the beginning is really nice, I suggest a love triangle.
  • Oh God, most awkward way of finding out if someone is a lesbian ever.
  • Wow, Will thinks she has amazing hands...they are so going to be a thing.
  • Oh, damn, intrigue! Dan was driving!
  • Aw, Julia is super sweet!
  • And Dr. Bendari is a fucking bitch.
  • Oh, damn, that was the most beautiful declaration ever....and he doesn't return her feelings. Bastard! Will, you son of a bitch.
  • Oh, is Micah going to be sweet? Eh, kinda.
  • Aw, Marianne is going to see her mother.
  • Emily gets to observe! Oh, no! Is Julia going to make it!
  • Oh, damn, Emily is in there in surgery!
  • Oh, shit, the Chief and Jessica!
  • Wonder what's up with Micah and 501? Oh, it's his mother. Oh, damn, she's the pancreatic cancer one....
  • Great, I never get to feel like an adult? Good to know...
  • Oh, damn, Will has someone else?
Okay, I loved it, and will watch it for ever and ever and ever and so should you.

Thanks for reading.
