A Town Called Mercy - Doctor Who Season 7 Episode 3

I am so excited for this episode! I cannot wait to see the Western theme play out!

• The juxtaposition of that vintage story-telling voice and the futuristic execution is very nice. 
• Ah, yes, this is so freaking cool already. 
• This set is lovely and the music and everything...I can't believe we get to see an Old West episode!
• Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Matt Smith's American accent and request for tea is the most hilarious thing in the entire world. And a bit sexy. Okay, a lot sexy. 
• Wait, who the hell is he? Another Doctor? What? Oh, I see. 
• Matt Smith just put on a cowboy hat...oh, sorry, I can't hear the dialogue over the sound of my ovaries exploding. 
• And he just rode off on Susan/Joshua...oh, my good God, this is too much...I'm going to faint before this is over. 
• I'm thinking this other doctor might have a very dark past. 
• Kindness, sadness, and ferocity...that's Amy alright. 
• Oh, this is beautiful beyond all comprehension. Matt Smith as a cowboy is beyond magnificent. 
• Haha, his conversation with Susan are utterly hilarious! 
• So, if this other doctor's ship isn't damaged, what is he hiding? The plot thickens...
• Uh-oh...this Khaler Jax guy seems to be a bit sketchy...oh, man, the gunslinger isn't the bad guy. 
• Oh, man, Matt Smith is sexy when he's righteously angry. 
• Jax is a crazy mad scientist! That bastard! Oh, don't you turn this around and make it about the Doctor! 
• Holy shit! The Doctor has a gun! Holy shit! Amy has a gun...and can't shoot it...
• Aw, I hate it when people say stuff like that to the Doctor. 
• No, Isaac!!!!!! Don't die on us! 
• The Doctor is the Marshall...I like it. Oh, really, a gunfight at high noon? Oh, this is kitsch and so classy and I love this. 
• Hahaha, poor Rory. 
• Oh, that undertaker is priceless. 
• Wow, this is actually happening....a freaking Old West gunfight in Doctor Who. I love life. 
• Okay, I see the distractions, but I'm not yet seeing the whole plan...Oh, little girl, don't go and get killed....okay, fairly nice cyborg.
• Uh-oh, is he going for the Doctor, now? No, no, no...
• Oh, man, Jax is self-destructing...that was brave, and quite a poignant scene in my opinion. 
• I hate the constant reminders that Rory and Amy are leaving the Doctor...
• Aw, the little girl is the great-grandmother of the narrator....this is one hell of an ending. 

This was a really great episode. I utterly adore the Old West, and to see the Doctor in that context, and being all sexy in a cowboy hat was literally wondrous.
